This apartment in a duplex (meaning that on one side there is another house attached) on two floors is an excellent deal: plenty of room at a very affordable price, with a great view across the country up to Volterra thrown in for free. It is on a paved road about 1 mile from the center of Chianni. Appx 800 yds to the public swimming pool in Chianni (walking distance) which makes it an excellent starting point for excursions.
The living-dining room, equipped with an open fireplace  also contains the kitchen and opens onto the sunny, south-facing terrace, perfect for eating outside and relaxing from busy days. There is bathroom downstairs with a washbasin and a toilet. Upstairs there are two bedrooms: one with two beds put together, and one with three beds, as well as a full bath with shower, washbasin and a toilet and small terrace overlooking the landscape towards south.
You can walk to town in about 20 minutes or head the opposite direction to "la Botteghina", a trattoria with wonderful and very inexpensive food.

There is a washing machine in the downstairs bathroom.
Parking space within the property. 

The house has a 110l fridge, an oven 5 gas fires, waterboiler, coffeemachines, TV (italian programs), and all the necessary stuff to cook good meals for self caterers.
